Welcome to Blogathon 2005 at "Blogging For Greenpeace"
Well, the day has finally arrived. It's just about 2 PM in the UK, which means that for the next 24 hours between myself, Sangroncito and Dear Kitty, we'll be posting an entry here at least every 30 minutes, and asking you to pledge to sponsor us.
We'll try and look at some of the important issues tackled by Greenpeace, such as GM crops, pollution and nuclear weapons.
Most importantly, we need you - your support and encouragement will keep us going through the next 24 hours.

Good Morning John! I am your monitor for the Blogathon CHris. I wanted to say good morning and good luck to you. I shall be checking on you all day today. Have a Blast okay?
Hello Chris, thanks, we'll do our best :)

Hello Betty, you'll be a bit tired then by the time this has all finished. Thanks for dropping by, hope you find some of the things we post interesting as the 24 hours wears on. All the best :)
Good luck on your Blogathon. :)
Thanks Gennie
I have utter confidence that this watch is in good hands.
If you want, and if it's allowed, you can slap me up as a contributor and I can throw in some content tomorrow (Tokyo's tomorrow - we are such an advanced country that we are 9 hours ahead of you).
Great djeb, what times tomorrow are best for you? You could do a couple of my stints if you like.
How do you fancy taking 12, 12:30, 1 and 1:30 PM posts your time tomorrow aft?
Oh, just checked, Tokyo's 8 hours ahead djeb. Or are you in a different time zone there?
I'm afraid I'm not that useful. I'm thinking I can overlap someone, if that is allowed. I can shoot off a couple before I head out tomorrow - between 8 and 9 hours from now, I think (I have to play tour guide for the guests I mentioned last month).
BTW, I am in Tokyo's time zone - I don't know what's going on with daylight savings time. We don't have that here - we just put up with a 4:30 sunrise and 6:30 sunset.
Yes, that's fine djeb. Sent you the invite. You can post when you'd like to do so.
Groovy!
I'm writing a piece now...
I must sign off for the night...
Blog on.
